The year of 2020 has almost drawn to a close. To some, it has been the longest year of their lives. To others, it has been an insanely short year.
Some of the biggest games in recent memory were released, and opinions were polarizing. Some indie studios came out of nowhere and delivered some truly amazing art pieces. Fans were pleased. Fans were enraged. Some fans took to Twitter to send praise to developers. Some fans took to email to send developers death threats.
Yes, this year has truly been crazy for a whole multitude of reasons, and gaming is no exception. That’s why this week, on the last episode of the year, we decided to reflect on the games we most anticipated for 2020. Did our excitement hold up? Did the game live up to our expectations?
We also talked about Cyberpunk 2077, both in our personal experiences and the controversy surrounding it. We managed to fit in a few other games, some social media polls, and our Patreon shout-outs before calling it a year.
We will be taking two weeks off to spend time with our families. We want to say THANK YOU to each and every person who has ever shown us support, but especially this year with all of the changes we made. We look forward to coming back in 2021 better than ever! Have a happy holiday season, please continue to wear your masks, and chomp on, Chomp Nation.
