With the Chompcast, we aim to deliver an insightful and unique perspective on gaming as we talk about our experiences with the games we play, recent gaming news that most affects our interests, and philosophical issues encompassing everything that involves video gaming.
This week we talk about the Sony showcase from September 2021. What excited us? What bored us to tears? What’s in the box?
After extensively discussing all that, we get into the games we’ve been playing this week. Josh is finally back, and he gives his thoughts on Psychonauts 2. Rich talks about The Artful Escape and Lake. Shea smiles and nods graciously.
Hello all! In this week’s episode, we discuss the news that China has implemented a strict ban on gaming for under-18-year-olds. Is it something to worry about? We also manage to discuss a bunch of games, such as Psychonauts 2, Dodgeball Academia, Splitgate, and Hypercharge Unboxed. We round out the show revealing the results of the social media polls and the Patreon question of the week. Enjoy!
Whoaaaaaaa Nelly, we got a heater of an episode this week! We discussed The Bechdel Test, if it is applicable to gaming, and what games successfully pass the Bechdel Test. We talked about a TON of games: Psychonauts 2, Twelve Minutes, Tales of Arise demo, Plague Tale: Innocence, A Link to the Past, and Super Mario World. It was that time of the month as we shouted out our wonderful Patrons. We wrapped up this lovely show with our social media polls!
There are spoilers during the Twelve Minutes talk. If you haven’t played the game yet, please use the time stamps to skip that portion of the conversation.

It's the new year, and we are finally back in action. Josh has put the fireworks away, Shea has given up swiping cold turkey, Fish has eaten the turkey, and Morgan continues to fire bottle rockets out of his bare ass. We start the show off with our most anticipated games of 2019. We continue with a gargantuan amount of social media business. Last, we discuss what games we have played over break, such as Into the Breach, Seasons After Fall, and Hello Neighbor. Come start the year off with the Chompcast.
